Among Horses

Time spent with horses has always sat alongside my work in technology and innovation.

Riding asks for something different. You pay attention to small signals — balance, timing, shifts in rhythm — and learn quickly that force rarely works. Change comes through feel, not control. Things move when you stop trying to force them.

It’s a world that rewards observation. Progress depends on understanding the system rather than trying to impose yourself on it.

Long before I spoke about innovation systems, I was learning to become part of one.

These images capture moments from that world — riding, learning, and simply being there.
